There is no known insurance company with the name: Georgia General Liability Insurance. This website represents an insurance agency and not an insurance company.
There is a national group called “Acord” and they publish standardized forms. There is a form that has a form name of: “Georgia Liability Insurance”.
Many insurance companies put their name on the top of the insurance card… The “Acord” team does the same. They put the name of their form in the same location… The difference is: A form name is NOT an insurance company.
When reading the form there are boxes on the form that are labeled. One of the labeled boxes has: “Company” … See the following example:
If your police report has the insurance company name listed as “Georgia General Liability”, please call the other party to the accident and find out the company’s real name.
Also, next time you talk to the officer that miss-defined the name of the insurance company, let him know about this page. Helping the officer will position our office with less phone calls and future accident victims with correct information.
